Examination

Dr. Enatsu is interested in assessing your mouth based upon 4 variables. The goal is to reduce your risks in each area to ensure predictability in your satisfaction with your teeth.

Periodontal Condition - gum pocketting, recession, mobility, inflammation, etc
Tooth Structure - history of decay process, weak teeth, abscesses, presence of decay or broken fillings
Function - tooth wear, jaw joint problems, grinding, chipping or worn teeth
Dentofacial - The cosmetic aspects of your teeth

Dr. Enatsu will request additional records (models and photos of your mouth) whenever further information is needed. This is especially relevant whenever you're interested in improving the cosmetics of your smile or changing your bite to correct a grinding pattern or joint problem.

FAQ

Digital Radiographs (X-Rays)

Radiographs are a necessary part to a thorough dental examination. Dr. Enatsu prescribes radiographs based upon general standards of care guidelines.

The digital radiographs that we use are state of the art and use 1/4 the radiation as conventional x-rays.

You can expect that we will regularly update your radiographs to ensure our examinations are thorough and accurate.
